2ND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ROADSIDE SAFETY – JUNE 23-26, 2024

TRB – TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH BOARD

On 24 June, our Scientific Director, Marco Anghileri, attended the second International Conference on Road Safety in Orlando, FL, organised by the TRB – Transportation Research Board.

During the conference, Marco spoke about the European EN1317 standards, their current status and necessary revisions. He emphasised the importance of the active participation of all parties involved in road safety – road authorities, infrastructure managers, manufacturers, notified bodies, test centres (both real and virtual), and research centres – for the success of standard revision activities.

The results of the Intoroads Round Robin Test TW1 and its conclusions were presented, highlighting the importance of such studies for improving road safety.
